Hello! I am the Vintage Stylist! So Nice To Meet You...

I'm so excited you have decided to follow along in my blog. Let me introduce myself to you and let you know about what my passion is! 

VINTAGE CLOTHING, VINTAGE PURSES, VINTAGE SHOES, and to bring my knowledge to the masses about anything to do with VINTAGE STYLES is MY game. 

I have been partnered with my mom in operating a consignment boutique that specializes in vintage clothing for over 16 years, but have been involved with our shop since age 3. Here's a couple photos from my shop, this year we are celebrating 35 years of business! 

 
In my years of experience in this niche industry I have studied vintage clothing textiles, vintage clothing labels, eras of clothing, vintage garment history, vintage designers, and have grown into an expert on these things. I have touched over two million threads and my own love of vintage didn't come naturally, rather slowly but surely it has developed into a true passion and love. 

I have a shop on Etsy. I started on Etsy in 2009 but through a period of dealing with a child who suddenly developed a disability and meeting and marrying the love of my life I rarely worked on my Etsy shop until the last year. You can visit my Etsy Shop, TWO VINTAGE LADIES, by clicking HERE. 

This is me and my momma, Barb. She is not just my mother, but my business partner, my confident, and closest friend. We have always held a special and unique mother daughter bond that we both cherish. We have worked together everyday for over 16 years. Some days are harder than others, but we both have a passion for fashion! She loves designer goods, and I love antique goods. She loves things like accounting and crunching numbers and building displays, while I love taking photos, modeling, and doing everything online. This make us a tremendous duo and great business partners. 

I have been a writer since high school where I was very active in my school paper, The Purple Press. I have always loved writing and have been journaling since age 7. Over the years, I have been published several times in papers such as Women's Lifestyle, I wrote for several years on vintage and consignment through Ehow.com, and am currently a writer for Demand Media Studios, and have a regular vintage fashion column in a local paper here called The Good News Paper. 

I am a mother to two teenagers. And I recently married the love of my life. My husband IS a vintage guy and plays the horn in a Motown band that includes 9 members. I sure have fun on the nights his band plays and I get to doll up in pin up styles and help promote them - sometimes as their Merch girl. We have tons of fun together modeling too.
